JESTOR is a family run business owned by Travis and Rachel Olson.
Travis is a journeyman welder who grew up farming in central Alberta and working in various fabrication shops. He maintains a hard and honest work ethic for all jobs. He comes with years of experience and knowledge in this industry.
Rachel grew up in Delta BC and met Travis in Alberta while attending University. She has had a variety of jobs and life experiences to prepare her for this next endeavor. Together her and Travis came to Summerland in 2020 and opened the doors to JESTOR Fabrication.
JESTOR is an abbreviation of the Olson family names. Their three daughters Julia, Emily, Sarah, the family dog Odin and of course Travis and Rachel.
JESTOR strives to give our customer the family feel with each interaction. We want to provide quality work that will last for years.

Yes you can paint your piece with aerosol spray paints available at most retail stores. We can always offer advice about surface preparation before painting.
Yes it can be outdoors or inside. Outside exposure can cause an item to rust over time if untreated. Pieces can be treated with WD40 and fine grit sandpaper. A soft cloth and mild soap can help with painted or powder coated signs. We will provide care sheets with every order.
Powder coating is a dry powder that is applied to the metal piece and then baked on creating a hard finish that is more durable than paint. We do not do this in house.
All items are final sale as they are cut to order. We do not offer warranty but if there are any issues with our products please contact us and we will work with you to come to a resolution.
The quality of the cuts within the piece are compromised if cuts get too small. Overheating metal can cause warping, and we want to give you the best so through trial and error we have figured out the minimum size of each piece to maintain its integrity.
We have had to implement this due to the hours spent on creating something that never gets cut. We can do a free consultation, and fee will be discussed at that time.
Glossary of Terms used when describing our pieces:
Gage = The thickness of the piece of metal.
Raw = The metal cut and polished.
1 Layer = The piece as is, one layer of metal.
2 Layer = The piece on top of another piece of metal. The underlying piece can be flush with the top piece or have some depth by raising the top piece creating “2 layers”.
